Beat the summer heat with these fun fruity candle recipes. These candle recipes use our Scented Soy Beads, which means no heating or melting required, a perfect activity for a hot summerday. Just mix, pour, and enjoy. We’ve put together five summer mocktail-inspired candle recipes that smell like warm weather, tropical fruits, and poolside drinks.
Instructions
Each recipe uses a simple ratio of Scented Soy Beads mixed together to create a blended fragrance experience. The recipes are written in ratios so you can easily scale them up or down to match your vessel size or mix up a larger batch at once. For example, if a recipe calls for 3 parts to 1 part, you might use 3 cups to 1 cup for a larger candle, or 3 tablespoons to 1 tablespoon for a smaller candle.
Before you start, pre-wick a clear-sided candle vessel. We recommend utilizing clear vessels with our Scented Soy Beads so you can see all of the fun colors and design. Mix your beads in a separate container first so all the scent notes blend together, then pour the mixture into your vessel. If you are using a vessel with a lid, you can also pour the measured beads directly into the vessel, close the lid, and give it a vigorous shake to mix them.
